What is it?
A one day conference looking at how ideas are designed to be more understandable.
We look beyond the discipline of Information Design to related fields too.
It is hosted by the St Bride's Library and curated by Max Gadney, founder of After the Flood, an information design consultancy.
When?
Friday 25th January, 2013, 9am-5pm with drinks afterwards
Where?
St Brides Library(Fleet St , London, UK)
Who is Speaking?
We will hear from people working in media, sport, defence, literature, technology
I believe that decent conferences follow these rules:
- Insightful speakers who talk about what works and doesn't work and why
- no 'portfolio sessions' - by all means use visual aids but use it to illustrate a point
- brief talks (roughly 25 mins) and everyone kept to time
