What is it?
A one day conference looking at how ideas are designed to be more understandable and how people understand first in order to communicate.
It is hosted by the St Bride's Library and curated by Max Gadney.
We will not just be looking at the discipline of Information Design, but to related fields too as I believe that good conferences have breadth as well as depth.
When?
Friday 27th January, 2012
Where?
St Brides Library(Fleet St , London, UK
Who is Speaking?
We will hear from people working in media, news, publishing, technology
We've got some great speakers - and they are not just interesting people - but they can give a good talk too.
I believe that decent conferences follow these rules:
- Insightful speakers who talk about what works and doesn't work and why
- no 'portfolio sessions' - by all means use visual aids but use it to illustrate a point
- brief talks (roughly 25 mins) and everyone kept to time
It's curated by me, Max Gadney and it is my favourite subject.
Thank you to St Brides for letting me put this on.
